The Avanti Giro ER-C Midnight Blue has been re-engineered from the ground up to provide a "magic carpet" ride for endurance cyclists. At the heart of this machine is a Swiss-engineered HMF carbon frameset that balances high-performance stiffness with vertical compliance to damp road vibrations. The geometry is purposefully more upright than a traditional race bike, reducing strain on your back and neck during epic day-long adventures.
Performance is handled by the latest Shimano 105 12-speed groupset, offering a massive gear range that makes even the steepest alpine climbs manageable. This model features a fully integrated cockpit with hidden cables, providing a clean, aerodynamic aesthetic usually reserved for high-end race rigs. With clearance for up to 34mm tyres and coming stock with 32mm Schwalbe ONE rubber, the Giro ER-C is as capable on rutted backroads as it is on smooth bitumen. Powerful hydraulic disc brakes ensure consistent stopping power in all Australian weather conditions, while the Syncros carbon seatpost adds an extra layer of comfort.

✅ Why This IS For You
The Century Rider: You love spending 4+ hours in the saddle and need a bike that won't leave you feeling battered by road buzz.
All-Road Explorer: You frequently encounter coarse chip seal or light gravel and want the stability of 32mm or 34mm tyres.
Hill Enthusiasts: The 12-speed 105 groupset with a 34T climbing gear is perfect for tackling steep gradients without blowing up.
Modern Aesthetic Fans: You want the high-end "cable-free" look of a professional race bike at a more accessible price point.
Reliability Seekers: You want the "workhorse" Shimano 105 groupset, known for delivering pro-level performance with long-term durability.
❌ Why This May NOT Be For You
Criterium Racers: The endurance geometry is more upright; if you want a slammed, aggressive position for short-course racing, look at the Corsa range.
Weight Weenies: While light for an endurance bike, it isn't a dedicated climbing specialist like an ultra-minimalist rim-brake bike.
Strictly Smooth Tarmac: If you only ever ride perfect bitumen, the 32mm tyres and endurance focus might feel like "too much bike" for your needs.
BFC PRO TIP
The Giro ER-C comes with Syncros rims that are ready for the future. We highly recommend converting this bike to a tubeless setup as soon as possible. Running the 32mm Schwalbe tyres tubeless allows you to drop your tyre pressure to around 50–60psi (depending on your weight), which significantly increases grip and comfort without sacrificing rolling speed. It also virtually eliminates the risk of "pinch flats" on those nasty Australian potholes!
