Engineered to dominate the technical descents of enduro racing while keeping you completely comfortable on grueling climbs, the Fox Proframe Thrive blends maximum protection with open-face breathability. Its dual-density Varizorb EPS liner is structurally fused to a robust polycarbonate shell using advanced in-moulding techniques. This results in a downhill-rated helmet that is significantly lighter than traditional full-face options, completely changing the game for riders who spend all day in the saddle.
Safety is heavily prioritised throughout the chassis. Featuring a Mips impact protection liner, the helmet is designed to absorb and redirect harmful rotational forces away from the brain during angled impacts. The integrated, heavy-duty chin bar meets stringent ASTM downhill safety standards, providing total facial coverage and absolute peace of mind when pushing your limits on high-speed singletrack or technical rock gardens.
Comfort is meticulously maintained through massive Big Bore airflow channels that maximise ventilation and reduce skin contact area. This model comes equipped with an updated three-position adjustable visor that parks seamlessly out of the way to accommodate mountain bike goggles. It also features an antimicrobial Ionic+ liner to wick sweat away, alongside a removable under-visor GoPro mount so you can capture every technical line.

✅ Enduro and All-Mountain Riders: Perfect if you need full-face downhill protection but don't want to suffocate on hot, high-effort climbs.
✅ Premium Safety Seekers: Ideal for riders prioritising dual-density impact foams and verified Mips brain protection systems.
✅ Content Creators: The included, removable under-visor action camera mount makes it effortless to capture clean, first-person trail footage.
❌ Casual Trail Riders: If your local loops consist of flat cross-country paths, a lighter open-face trail lid will offer better all-day airflow.
❌ Dial-Adjust Preference: This helmet utilises swappable internal fit padding instead of a mechanical rear dial; dial-system lovers should look at the Proframe RS.
❌ Budget-Focused Buyers: If you only visit the bike park once a year, a heavier entry-level full-face helmet might be a more economical choice.
The Proframe includes an additional set of thick and thin cheek pads and neck rolls in the box. Take the extra ten minutes to swap them around before your first ride to dial in a completely customised, snug fit. A perfect full-face fit should firmly cradle your cheeks without squeezing them uncomfortably, ensuring the helmet won't shift or wobble on high-speed, chattery descents.
