LEBYCLE CHAIN LINK PLIERS
The Dual-Action Maintenance Solution.
The Lebycle Chain Quick Link Plier is a specialized 2-in-1 workshop tool designed to handle the most stubborn master links with ease. While modern "quick links" are designed for tool-free assembly, they often become nearly impossible to separate by hand once they have been exposed to road grit, chain wax, or minor corrosion.
This tool features a dual-jaw design that allows you to both open (disconnect) and close (reconnect) chain links using a single-handed squeezing motion. Built from high-carbon steel, it provides the rigid structure needed for consistent performance across various drivetrain brands.
Key Features
2-in-1 Dual Functionality: The uniquely shaped tips are designed to both compress the link plates for removal and pull them apart for secure installation.
Hardened Carbon Steel: Forged from high-strength steel with a heat-treated finish to prevent the tips from bending or rounding off over time.
Ergonomic Non-Slip Grip: Features soft-touch rubberized handles that provide excellent leverage and comfort, even if your hands are covered in grease.
Spring-Loaded Action: An integrated return spring keeps the pliers in the open position, making it faster to position the tool onto the chain links.
Storage Clasp: A small metal loop at the base of the handles keeps the tool locked in a closed, compact position for easy storage in a toolbox or jersey pocket.
Universal Compatibility: Optimized for 1-speed through 12-speed chains, including specific support for narrow-gauge 12-speed links.

✅ Why This IS For You
Home Mechanics: If you prefer to remove your chain for thorough cleaning, these pliers turn a frustrating 5-minute struggle into a 2-second task.
New Chain Installation: Perfect for snapping a fresh master link into place, ensuring it is fully seated and locked before you start your ride.
12-Speed Drivetrain Owners: Modern 12-speed links (like SRAM PowerLock) are designed to be "non-reusable" and extremely tight; these pliers provide the precision needed to handle them without damaging the plates.
❌ Why This May NOT be for you
Campagnolo Users: If your chain uses a traditional rivet/pin rather than a master link, you need a chain breaker like the Park Tool CT-3.3 instead of these pliers.
Trailside Minimalists: While compact, if every gram counts, you might prefer a multi-tool with integrated pliers like the Wolf Tooth Pack Pliers which also double as tire levers.
Professional Shop Use: For a tool that will see dozens of uses every day, the Park Tool MLP-1.2 offers slightly more refined ergonomics and long-term durability.
BFC Pro Tip
When installing a new master link, always check for the directional arrow printed on the link plates. Most modern 11 and 12-speed links are directional and must be installed so the arrow points in the direction of the chain's travel (clockwise when looking at the drivetrain). Once the link is positioned, use these pliers to pull the plates apart until you hear a distinct "click", confirming the link is securely locked.
