The Mega Drive 2400+ is a serious tool that generates a lot of heat when running at full tilt. To maximize the lifespan of the internal battery, use the Economy or Enduro modes during long, slow climbs and save the full 2400-lumen "Overdrive" mode for the descents where the airflow will help keep the aluminum body cool. If you find yourself switching between just two modes frequently, remember the "Race Mode" shortcut: with the light off, hold the power button for five seconds until it flashes; it will now only toggle between Overdrive and Economy, keeping your operation simple when the riding gets intense!
