MAGICSHINE GARMIN TO GOPRO ADAPTOR
The Universal Bridge for Your Mounting Ecosystem.
The Magicshine Garmin to GoPro Adaptor is a simple but essential component for any rider looking to streamline their cockpit or expand their mounting options. This lightweight adaptor allows you to take any device with a "male" Garmin-style quarter-turn base—such as a Magicshine light, a Garmin Edge computer, or even a GoPro with a Garmin base—and attach it to any standard GoPro-style 3-prong mount.
Whether you want to mount your light beneath your out-front computer mount (like the Magicshine TTA or MJ-6272), or you want to fix your light to a GoPro-compatible helmet mount for night-time trail riding, this adaptor makes it possible. It effectively breaks down the barriers between different mounting standards, allowing for a cleaner, more professional-looking bike setup.
Key Performance Features
Universal Garmin Compatibility: Designed to accept any device featuring a male-ended Garmin quad-lock style base, ensuring a secure, twist-to-lock connection.
GoPro Ecosystem Integration: Features a standard 2-prong interface that slides into any GoPro-compatible bracket (helmet mounts, handlebar mounts, or out-front combo mounts).
Ultra-Lightweight Construction: Made from high-strength, durable plastic that adds virtually no weight to your setup (approx.5.7g), making it ideal for performance-focused riders.
Clean Cockpit Solution: Enables an "upside-down" mounting position, allowing you to tuck your light directly beneath your GPS computer to save handlebar space.
Secure & Rattle-Free: When used with the included thumb screw and nut, it provides a stable platform that keeps your light or camera steady over rough terrain.
Tool-Free Adjustment: The included screw handle allows you to easily adjust the tilt of your light or camera on the fly without needing a hex key.

✅ Why This IS For You
The "Clean Bar" Perfectionist: Perfect if you want to use a combo out-front mount to stack your computer and light vertically, keeping your bars clear of extra clamps.
The Helmet-Mount Rider: If you already have a GoPro mount on your helmet, this is the easiest way to attach a Magicshine Allty or Monteer light for a dynamic, gaze-following beam.
Multi-Device Users: Ideal if you own various devices with Garmin bases and want to use them across different bikes that are already equipped with GoPro mounts.
❌ Why This May NOT be for you
Heavy All-in-One Lights: Magicshine advises against using this for an "upside-down" mount with certain heavy integrated-battery lights (like the Ray or older RN series) on very rough terrain, as the weight can put excessive stress on the plastic interface.
Non-Garmin Devices: If your light uses a proprietary strap or a different mounting standard (and doesn't have a Garmin-style base), this adaptor will not work.
BFC Pro Tip
While this adaptor is made of high-quality plastic, it is a sacrificial part of your mounting system. In the event of a crash, it is designed to fail before your expensive light or computer mount does. To keep your electronics as safe as possible, always use a safety tether when mounting devices "underneath" your computer. Also, if you find the adaptor is slightly loose in your GoPro mount, a tiny strip of electrical tape on the prongs can eliminate any "creep" or vibration on particularly corrugated roads or trails!
