The Muc-Off Dark Energy Wax Off 500ml (officially known as the Chain Wax Cleaner) is the ultimate preparatory solution engineered by the drivetrain-obsessed minds at Muc-Off. Designed specifically to support high-performance wax-based drivetrains like Muc-Off Dark Energy, this heavy-duty cleaner tackles the toughest contaminants that regular degreasers leave behind. Whether you are prepping a brand-new chain by stripping away stubborn factory grease or removing built-up, contaminated wax residue before a fresh dip or drip application, this powerful formula does it fast, clean, and completely hassle-free.

Unlike standard degreasers which can leave behind oily film barriers that ruin wax adhesion, this specialist formulation breaks down molecular bonds to leave a clinically clean, bare metal surface. This allows your fresh chain wax to penetrate deep into the chain links and rollers, maximizing drivetrain efficiency, lowering friction, and extending the lifespan of your expensive components. Packed in a convenient 500ml spray bottle, it is a mandatory addition to any serious workshop or maintenance routine.

Key Features

• Wax-Specific Formulation: Purpose-built to break down and lift stubborn wax coatings, residual oils, and heavy factory greases that regular cleaners struggle to shift.

• Fast-Acting Delivery: Deep cleans all drivetrain areas in seconds, minimizing workshop prep time before re-waxing.

• Component Safe: Fully safe for use on all metal chain links, cassettes, chainrings, and derailleurs without risking structural damage.

• Convenient Spray Trigger: Supplied in a 500ml bottle with an ergonomic trigger spray for precise, efficient application and zero product wastage.
