PRAXIS TURN STEM BLACK
The Praxis Turn Stem is engineered to deliver exceptional front-end stiffness without a weight penalty. Utilising high-strength 6061-T6 aluminium that has been 3D-forged and then CNC-machined, this stem ensures precision alignment and a secure grip on both your steerer tube and handlebars.
The four-bolt faceplate design distributes clamping pressure evenly, protecting lightweight carbon bars while maintaining a rock-solid interface during out-of-the-saddle sprints or technical descents. With its subtle matte black finish and laser-etched graphics, it integrates seamlessly into any road, gravel, or mountain bike cockpit.
Key Features
3D-Forged Construction: Manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminium for an optimal strength-to-weight ratio and long-term durability.
Four-Bolt Faceplate: Ensures even torque distribution across the handlebar, reducing stress points on carbon and alloy bars alike.
Minimalist Aesthetic: Features a low-profile matte black finish with understated branding to suit any bike build.
Versatile Fitment: Designed with a standard 31.8mm clamp diameter, making it compatible with the vast majority of modern handlebars.
Precise Machining: Opposing steerer tube bolts provide a secure, balanced clamp that prevents slippage on high-torque climbs.

✅ Why This IS For You
Reliability First: You want a "set and forget" component that won't flex or creak when you're putting down maximum power.
Clean Look: You prefer a stealthy, professional appearance over flashy logos and loud colours.
Value Conscious: You want pro-level performance and stiffness without the premium price tag of carbon fibre.
Carbon Bar Safe: The wide faceplate is gentle on expensive carbon bars while maintaining a firm grip.
Versatile Setup: The 7-degree rise allows you to flip the stem to achieve either a racy "slammed" look or a slightly more upright, comfortable position.
❌ Why This May NOT Be For You
Weight Weenies: While light for an alloy stem, riders obsessed with every gram may prefer a high-end carbon alternative.
Integrated Cockpits: This is a traditional stem; it is not compatible with fully internal cable routing systems that require specific proprietary spacers.
Aggressive Geometry Needs: If you require a deep -17 degree drop for a pro-peloton aero tuck, the 7-degree rise may be too conservative.
BFC PRO TIP When installing the Praxis Turn, use a dedicated torque wrench to hit the recommended 5Nm on the faceplate bolts. To ensure perfectly even clamping, tighten the bolts in a "cross" or "X" pattern—top left, bottom right, top right, bottom left—in small increments. This prevents the faceplate from tilting and ensures your handlebars are held perfectly straight and secure for the life of the stem!
