PRO MSN 1.3 SADDLE
The PRO MSN 1.3 is a high-performance, short-length saddle specifically designed for riders who maintain an aggressive, aerodynamic position but require extra support for technical endurance riding. With its wide, pressure-relieving recessed channel and lightweight construction, it strikes the perfect balance between race-day speed and long-distance comfort.
Key Performance Features
Short-Length Design: The snub-nose profile encourages a stable, forward-leaning position while reducing pressure on soft tissue, making it ideal for high-cadence efforts in the drops.
Large Pressure Relief Channel: Features a wide, central recessed area that minimises numbness and discomfort during prolonged sessions in the saddle.
Lightweight Carbon-Reinforced Base: The shell is constructed from a stiff, carbon-reinforced polymer, ensuring maximum power transfer while allowing enough flex to dampen road vibrations.
Stainless Steel Rails: Equipped with durable, high-strength INOX stainless steel rails that offer a robust connection to your seatpost while keeping weight to a minimum.
Abrasion-Resistant Cover: Wrapped in a smooth, high-grip PU material that reduces friction against your bib shorts while standing up to the rigours of all-weather riding.
Integrated Accessory Mount: Compatible with the PRO multi-tool, saddlebag, and mudguard mounting system for a clean, integrated setup.

Why This IS For You
✅ Aggressive Road & Gravel Riders: Perfect if you spend a lot of time in a low, aerodynamic tuck and find traditional long-nose saddles cause unwanted pressure.
✅ Technical Climbers: The 142mm and 152mm width options allow you to choose the exact support needed for your sit bones, ensuring stability during steep, high-torque climbs.
✅ Mixed-Surface Enthusiasts: The short design provides excellent clearance when moving around the bike on technical gravel descents or choppy road surfaces.
Why This May NOT Be For You
❌ Upright Leisure Riders: If you prefer a very upright "cruiser" position, a neutral/flat short saddle like this may feel too firm compared to a more curved, plush touring saddle.
❌ Extreme Weight Weenies: While lightweight, those looking for the absolute lightest possible setup might prefer the carbon-railed (1.1) version of the MSN series.
BFC Pro Tip
When choosing between the 142mm and 152mm, we always recommend getting your sit bones measured at a local bike shop. As a general rule, if you have a narrower build or a more aggressive race tilt, the 142mm is the go-to; if you have wider hips or prefer a slightly more "planted" feel, the 152mm provides that extra bit of platform. Also, because this is a short-nose saddle, you’ll likely need to set it roughly 10–15mm further back than your old traditional saddle to keep your hips in the same position!
