The Quad Lock Motorcycle Knuckle Adaptor is the ultimate solution for riders struggling with awkward cockpit layouts, tank bag clearance, or stubborn viewing angles. Designed to integrate seamlessly between your existing Quad Lock mount and the index head, this compact adaptor introduces an extra pivot point that lets you fine-tune your smartphone's positioning. Whether you need to tilt your phone to avoid direct sunlight glare or lift it slightly to clear your handlebars, clutch master cylinders, or tank accessories, this clever accessory makes it happen without compromising the security of your device.
Manufactured from the same ultra-tough, glass-filled nylon as Quad Lock's legendary mounting systems, the Knuckle Adaptor is built to endure the harsh realities of the open road. It features premium stainless steel hardware that resists rust and corrosion, ensuring your setup remains rock-solid through pouring rain and high-speed vibrations. As part of the modular Quad Lock 360 ecosystem, it allows for effortless customization, giving you the freedom to build a cockpit setup tailored exactly to your motorcycle or scooter.
Enhanced Viewing Adjustability: Adds an extra level of articulation, making it easy to pivot and tilt your smartphone for the ideal screen angle.
Extra Cockpit Height: Raises the index head by 34.8mm, allowing your phone to comfortably clear tank bags, bars, and fairings.
Glass-Filled Nylon Build: Constructed from high-impact, premium composite material designed to withstand UV exposure and rugged road use.
Weather-Resistant Hardware: Assembled with high-grade stainless steel fasteners to prevent rusting and weathering on exposed rides.
Quad Lock 360 Ecosystem: Fully compatible with all Quad Lock 360 arms, bases, and index heads for absolute modular flexibility.
Height: 34.8mm
Width: 25.0mm
Material: Glass-filled nylon composite
Hardware: Stainless steel
Compatibility: Quad Lock Handlebar Mount, Fork Stem Mount, Mirror Mount, and all 360 products
Incompatibility: Not recommended for Brake/Clutch Mount or Brake Reservoir Mount; incompatible with Mirror Stem Mount
Suffer From Screen Glare: Perfect if you constantly find yourself ducking or dodging sun glare on your phone screen while riding.
Have a Crowded Cockpit: Ideal for bikes with tight clearances where the phone case hits the handlebars or clutch oil reservoir during installation.
Use a Tank Bag: Excellent for raising your smartphone just high enough to remain visible over a bulky tank bag or handlebar pack.
Want Modular Customisation: Great if you love tailoring your tech setup and want to link multiple Quad Lock 360 parts together.
Ride in Harsh Weather: A must-have for everyday commuters and adventure riders who require robust, rust-proof components.
Prefer a Minimalist Setup: If you like your phone sitting as low and flush to the handlebars as possible, this extra link adds unwanted bulk.
Use a Brake Reservoir Mount: Not recommended for use with Quad Lock's brake reservoir or clutch perch mounts due to spacing limitations.
Want a Tool-Free Pivot: It requires a hex key to lock the angle into place, meaning you cannot easily readjust it on the fly while riding.
When installing the Knuckle Adaptor, don't just tighten it straight away. Sit on your motorbike in your normal riding position with your helmet on before clamping it down. This allows you to account for your exact line of sight and riding posture, ensuring you lock in the perfect angle to view your GPS instantly without having to take your eyes off the road for too long!
