The Syncros Creston iC SL Aero is an ultra-lightweight, one-piece carbon handlebar and stem unit engineered for maximum aerodynamic efficiency and structural stiffness. Developed specifically to complement the SCOTT Foil RC, this cockpit is the result of extensive wind-tunnel testing and collaboration with professional WorldTour riders.
By utilizing a monocoque carbon construction with a superlight (SL) layup, Syncros has created a unit that is roughly 10% lighter than standard manufacturing processes while increasing sprinting stiffness. The "iC" (Integrated Cockpit) concept eliminates external bolts and clamps, creating a seamless, clutter-free front end.

❌ Why This May NOT be for you
Fit Flexibility: Because the stem and bar are a single unit, you cannot adjust the "roll" (angle) of the handlebars. You must ensure the compact geometry suits your preferred wrist position.
Non-SCOTT Bikes: While it may fit other 1" steerers, the cable routing and headset spacers are specifically shaped to transition into the SCOTT Foil frame. Using it on other brands may result in a "stepped" look at the headset.
Gravel/Rough Road Use: For dedicated off-road riding, the Syncros Creston iC SL X is a better choice, as it features a flared drop for more stability and better vibration damping.
BFC Pro Tip
Because this is a high-performance carbon component, always use a torque wrench for installation, specifically on the steerer tube clamp bolts. Overtightening can cause invisible fractures in the carbon that may lead to failure. Additionally, if you plan on using an out-front computer mount, ensure you purchase the Syncros-specific aero mount, as standard handlebar mounts will not fit the ovalized aero profile.
