BBB LOUD AND CLEAR DELUXE BELL BLACK BBB-15
Safety with a Sophisticated Ring.
The BBB Loud & Clear Deluxe (BBB-15) is the premium choice for cyclists who need a reliable way to signal their presence without cluttering their handlebars. Winner of multiple design awards, this bell earns its name by delivering a crisp, high-pitched "ding" that cuts through ambient city noise and wind, ensuring pedestrians and other riders hear you well in advance.
Finished in a sleek, matte black, the Deluxe version features a stainless steel spring and a high-quality brass alloy dome. Unlike cheap plastic bells that lose their "snap" over time, the BBB-15 is built for years of daily use, maintaining a consistent, clear tone regardless of the weather.
Key Features
High-Volume Brass Dome: Engineered from a specific brass alloy to produce a bright, resonant tone that carries further than standard aluminum bells.
Loud & Clear Clarity: The "Deluxe" internal striker is tuned to a frequency that is easily heard by pedestrians, even those wearing headphones or in heavy traffic.
Tool-Free Installation: Features a clever quick-release rubber strap system that allows you to mount or remove the bell in seconds without any tools.
Universal Fitment: The flexible strap fits all handlebar diameters, including oversized 31.8mm road bars and standard 22.2mm commuter bars.
Robust Stainless Spring: Equipped with a heavy-duty spring that provides a positive, tactile feel and won't rust or weaken after exposure to rain.
Compact & Low Profile: Designed to sit close to the bar, ensuring it doesn't interfere with your brake levers, shifters, or out-front computer mounts.

✅ Why This IS For You
Urban Commuters: If you spend your morning navigating shared-use paths or busy streets where a loud, polite warning is essential for safety.
Gravel & Road Cyclists: Perfect for those who want a bell that is lightweight and unobtrusive but still powerful enough to be heard over wind noise.
Multi-Bike Owners: Ideal because the quick-release strap makes it incredibly easy to swap the bell between your commuter and your weekend bike.
❌ Why This May NOT be for you
Extreme Minimalists: If you are looking for a "hidden" bell that wraps around the bar (like the Knog Oi), this traditional dome shape is slightly more visible.
Off-Road Racing: On extremely rough MTB trails, any spring-actuated bell can occasionally "jingle" over heavy chatter; for pure DH racing, a silent cockpit is usually preferred.
BFC Pro Tip
The BBB-15 is a staff favorite because it’s so simple to get right. When mounting, try positioning it upside down on the left side of your bar, tucked just inside the brake lever clamp. This allows you to flick the striker with your thumb without ever having to move your hand away from the brakes. Also, because it uses a rubber strap, it won't scratch your carbon or high-end alloy bars—but a tiny bit of hairspray on the bar before mounting can help prevent it from rotating if you have a particularly "slick" finish!
