ENDURO S6801 SEALED BEARING 12 X 21 X 5
The Ultimate Defense Against Corrosion.
The Enduro S6801 is a high-precision radial bearing designed for riders who prioritize longevity and weather resistance above all else. While standard steel bearings are prone to rust when exposed to the elements, this Stainless Steel version is engineered specifically for high-moisture environments. Whether it’s a bottom bracket, a hub, or a suspension pivot, the S6801 provides a smooth, reliable rotation that won't seize up after a rainy season or a thorough bike wash.
Constructed with 440C Stainless Steel balls and races, this bearing offers the perfect balance of structural hardness and extreme corrosion resistance. This makes it the ideal "fit and forget" solution for daily commuters, bikepackers, and riders in coastal areas where salt air can wreak havoc on standard components.
Key Features
440C Stainless Steel Construction: Both the balls and the races are made from premium stainless alloy, ensuring the bearing will not rust or degrade when exposed to water or road salt.
ABEC-3 Precision: Manufactured to strict industry tolerances for a perfect fit, providing quiet and efficient operation in various bicycle applications.
LLB Light-Contact Seals: Features double-lip seals that provide an excellent barrier against dirt while maintaining minimal rotational drag for a fast-rolling feel.
High-Pressure Grease: Pre-filled with Marine-Grade waterproof grease, specifically chosen for its ability to stay in the races even when subjected to heavy rain or pressure washing.
Cryogenic Treatment: The stainless steel races are cryogenically treated to increase density and hardness, ensuring they can handle the repeated loads of modern cycling.
Versatile 12mm ID: A common size for front hubs and certain specialized bottom brackets, offering a significant upgrade over stock OEM bearings.

✅ Why This IS For You
Wet Weather Riders: If you ride year-round in rain, mud, or snow and are tired of replacing rusted bearings every few months.
Coastal Cyclists: Perfect for those living near the ocean where salt air causes standard steel bearings to pit and seize prematurely.
Low Maintenance Seekers: Ideal for commuters who want a durable, reliable bearing that can handle being hosed down after a gritty ride.
❌ Why This May NOT be for you
High-Load Suspension Pivots: For rear suspension linkages, the Enduro MAX (Full Complement) series is a better choice as it can handle 40% more weight.
Weight-Obsessed Racers: While the difference is tiny, those seeking the absolute lowest rolling resistance for time trials should look at Enduro Ceramic options.
BFC Pro Tip
The "S" in S6801 stands for Stainless, and it's your best friend if you're a fan of the pressure washer. However, even with stainless steel, we recommend a light coating of waterproof grease on the outside of the bearing before pressing it into your hub or frame. This prevents "creaking" caused by micro-movements between the bearing and the bore, ensuring your bike stays as silent as it is smooth.
