The Crux Insulated Tube is a "must-have" for anyone doing early morning winter sessions. To prevent freezing in extreme cold, even with an insulated tube, remember to blow a small puff of air back into the tube after you take a sip. This pushes the water back into the main insulated reservoir, ensuring the line stays clear of ice. Also, if you find the tube is slightly too long for your specific pack, you can slide the insulation back, trim the plastic tube with sharp scissors, and then slide the sleeve back into place for a custom, snag-free fit!
