To get the absolute best performance out of the Podium Steel, "pre-chill" the bottle by filling it with ice water for 5 minutes before you head out. Dump that out and refill with your fresh cold water and ice; this drops the temperature of the steel walls and helps keep your drink colder for even longer. Also, since metal bottles can be harder on paint than plastic, we recommend using a composite or plastic bottle cage rather than a traditional metal one to keep both the bottle and your frame looking mint.
