ENDURO 6804 MAX SEALED BEARING ABEC-3 20 X 32 X 7MM
The Heavy-Duty Suspension Specialist.
The Enduro 6804 MAX is a high-capacity radial bearing specifically engineered to solve the unique challenges of mountain bike suspension pivots. Unlike standard "radial" bearings designed for high-speed rotation (like hubs), the MAX (Full Complement) design is purpose-built for the high-torque, oscillating, small-degree movements found in rear suspension linkages. By removing the traditional ball retainer (cage), Enduro is able to insert the maximum number of balls possible, resulting in a 35% to 40% increase in load capacity over standard bearings.
This bearing is built with Grade 10 Chromium Steel balls and high-carbon 52100 steel races that are hardened to Rockwell C-62. This ensures that the bearing can withstand the massive landing forces and lateral stresses of aggressive trail and enduro riding without developing "notched" movement or premature play.
Key Features
MAX Full Complement Design: By filling the entire race with balls, the bearing distributes weight over a larger surface area, preventing "pitting" and premature wear in suspension pivots.
ABEC-3 Precision: Manufactured to tight industry standards for a perfect fit, ensuring smooth, creak-free operation of your bike’s rear triangle.
LLU Full-Contact Seals: Features double-lip seals that make firm contact with a groove in the inner race. This provides maximum protection against water, mud, and dust ingress.
High-Pressure Grease: Pre-filled with Almagard Extra High Pressure Grease, specifically formulated to stay in place during the high-load, low-speed movements typical of mountain bike pivots.
Corrosion Resistance: High-carbon 52100 alloy races provide the ultimate structural integrity for long-term durability in harsh, off-road environments.
Oversized Ball Diameter: Larger balls allow for deeper grooves in the races, providing superior lateral support during hard cornering and technical descents.

✅ Why This IS For You
MTB Suspension Overhauls: The gold standard for Enduro, Trail, and DH bikes where pivot bearings are subjected to massive vertical and lateral loads.
Aggressive Off-Road Riders: Cyclists who ride in muddy, wet, or dusty conditions and require a bearing that won't seize up after a few heavy washes.
Reliability Seekers: If you want to extend the service interval of your suspension linkage by using a bearing specifically designed for the task.
❌ Why This May NOT be for you
High-Speed Rotating Parts: Because there is no cage to separate the balls, the MAX series has higher internal friction. It is NOT recommended for standard front hubs or high-speed applications.
Weight-Sensitive Road Builds: For road hubs or bottom brackets, a standard ABEC-5 or Ceramic bearing would offer lower rolling resistance and weight.
BFC Pro Tip
When replacing your suspension bearings, always check the bearing bore of your frame for any burrs or old debris. Because the Enduro 6804 MAX is designed for a precise "press-fit," even a small amount of dirt can cause the bearing to sit crooked, leading to a creaky frame. We recommend a light smear of waterproof grease on the outer race before pressing it in to prevent "cold welding" and make future removals much easier.
