ENDURO A/C SEALED BEARING 2437 24 X 37 X 7
The Enduro 2437 Angular Contact Bearing is a high-performance solution designed specifically for the extreme radial and axial loads found in bicycle bottom brackets. Measuring 24mm x 37mm x 7mm, this is the industry-standard size for Hollowtech II (Shimano) and other 24mm spindle crank systems. While standard radial bearings often struggle with the lateral (side-to-side) forces of aggressive pedaling, this Angular Contact (A/C) version is engineered to thrive under these "combined loads."
By utilizing an angular design, the internal balls make contact with the races at a specific angle, allowing the bearing to stay centered and perfectly supported even when you're sprinting or climbing out of the saddle. This not only reduces the risk of the dreaded "BB creak" but also ensures that every watt of your power is transferred directly to the drivetrain. Featuring LLB (Light Contact, Linear Lip) seals, it offers a sophisticated barrier against the elements without the parasitic drag of heavy industrial seals.
Key Performance Features
Angular Contact Design: Engineered to handle both radial and axial loads simultaneously, ensuring the bearing stays stable and friction-free under the heavy side-loads of pedaling.
52100 High-Carbon Chromium Steel: Vacuum-degassed steel races provide a mirror-polished track that resists "pitting" and maintains structural integrity under high-torque forces.
Grade 10 Precision Balls: Features high-precision balls within 10/1,000,000" of a perfect sphere, ensuring even load distribution and smooth rotation.
LLB Dual-Lip Seals: A labyrinth-style seal that keeps grit and moisture out while maintaining a "fast" feel with minimal rotational resistance.
High-Pressure Waterproof Grease: Factory-packed with specialized marine-grade lubricant designed to resist wash-out and stay in place during wet-weather riding.
ABEC 3 Precision Rating: Manufactured to strict tolerances for roundness and smoothness, significantly exceeding the quality of standard OEM bearings.

✅ Why This IS For You
Shimano Hollowtech II Users: This is the premium replacement bearing for 24mm spindle bottom brackets, offering a significant upgrade over standard radial units.
Eliminating BB Creaks: The angular contact design is specifically built to stop the microscopic movement between races that leads to frame noise.
High-Mileage Riders: Perfect for cyclists who demand a durable, "fit-and-forget" bottom bracket solution that can handle thousands of kilometers of hard riding.
❌ Why This May NOT be for you
SRAM GXP or DUB Systems: If you use a SRAM DUB (28.99mm) or GXP (24mm/22mm) crankset, this specific 24mm straight-bore bearing will not fit your spindle correctly.
Extreme Corrosive Environments: For riders who train heavily indoors or live in coastal salt-air regions, the Enduro Stainless Steel version of the 2437 is the ultimate choice for rust prevention.
BFC Pro Tip
Angular contact bearings are directional! One race will have a thicker wall than the other. When installing the Enduro 2437, always ensure the bearing is oriented so the axial load (the pressure from the crank arms) is pushing the balls into the deeper part of the race. If installed backwards, the bearing will feel "notchy" almost immediately. We also recommend using a high-quality bearing press with the correct 24mm drifts—never hammer these into your cups, as the tight tolerances of an A/C bearing can be compromised by a single misplaced blow.
