The 36° x 45° hybrid angle is a critical measurement—even if the 30.2mm x 41mm dimensions match, the wrong angle will prevent the headset from centering properly. Before installation, use a clean rag to remove all old grit from the frame seats. Even though this bearing is stainless steel, we recommend applying a layer of waterproof assembly grease to the outer chamfers.
