Because the AR40 utilizes a straight-sidewall (hookless) rim design, the tyre bead needs to be incredibly precise to seat safely. Tyres like the Pirelli P Zero race TLR are perfect, but the older non-tubeless  is an absolute no-go. For the ultimate sweet spot in speed, comfort, and aerodynamics on modern Australian roads, mount a set of 28mm or 30mm tubeless tyres and drop your pressure down to around 55-65 psi depending on your weight!
