ERGON TRIATHLON SADDLE WOMENS FRONT
Maximum Power. Zero Pressure.
The Ergon SR Tri Women’s is engineered for the specific demands of a steep, aggressive triathlon or time-trial position. When you're tucked into the aero bars, your pelvis tilts forward significantly—putting immense pressure on soft tissue. This saddle solves that with a front-loading design that supports the pubic bone rather than the sit bones.
By using a wider, padded nose and a gender-specific relief channel, Ergon allows you to maintain a powerful, aerodynamic tuck for longer without the discomfort or numbness that often derails a bike leg.
Key Features
Gender-Specific Relief Channel: A deep, wide cutout tapered specifically for the female anatomy to prevent soft-tissue pressure in a forward-leaning aero position.
Front-Loaded Support: The nose is wider and more supportive than a standard road saddle, allowing you to "perch" on the front of the seat while under heavy load.
Orthopedic Comfort Foam: Features high-performance, closed-cell foam that provides a firm yet forgiving platform, ensuring your power goes into the pedals rather than being lost in excessive padding.
Low-Friction Side Flanks: The edges of the saddle are designed to reduce friction between your thighs and the seat, preventing chafing during high-cadence efforts.
Integrated Topeak QuickClick Mount: Includes a built-in mount for Topeak seat bags, perfect for carrying your flat kit without interfering with your aero setup.

✅ Why This IS For You
Triathletes & TT Riders: If you spend the majority of your ride in aero extensions, this saddle is specifically tuned for that 75° to 80° seat tube angle.
Aggressive Road Riders: An excellent choice for riders who prefer a "slammed" stem and a very low, aggressive front end on their road bike.
Soft Tissue Sensitivity: If you experience numbness or "pins and needles" when riding in the drops, the anatomic relief here is industry-leading.
❌ Why This May NOT be for you
Upright Touring/Hybrid Riders: This is a front-support saddle. If you sit upright with your weight on your sit bones, this nose-heavy design will feel uncomfortable and "pointy."
Weight Limits: While TiNox rails are strong, riders over 100kg should check the specific torque settings for their seat post to ensure a secure fit under high-impact loads.
Casual Cyclists: The firmness of orthopedic foam is designed for performance; it may feel "too hard" for someone not wearing a high-quality cycling chamois.
BFC Pro Tip
Setup is everything with a Tri-specific saddle. Most riders find that tilting the nose down by 1 to 2 degrees helps open up the hip angle and further reduces pressure when in the aero bars. If you are struggling to find the "sweet spot," book in for a BFC Aero Fit and we can use our lasers to get your saddle height and fore/aft position perfect for your next race.
