The Fox Youth Flight Helmet takes the classic "skate-style" silhouette and re-engineers it for the higher speeds and bigger impacts of youth BMX, dirt jumping, and trail riding. This isn't just a standard lid; it’s a high-performance shell designed to sit lower on the head for a more secure, confidence-inspiring fit. Whether your grom is hitting the local skatepark, racing BMX, or commuting on an e-scooter, the Youth Flight provides the robust protection needed for riders who are constantly pushing their boundaries.
The interior of the Flight has been updated with a focus on both safety and comfort. By utilising a single-density EPS construction, Fox has created a helmet that is exceptionally tough while remaining light enough to prevent neck fatigue during long sessions. For the "Pro" variant, this protection is further enhanced with a MIPS liner and a magnetic Fidlock buckle, but even the standard Youth Flight remains a standout for its superior fit and finish compared to generic "big box" helmets.
MIPS™ Impact Protection: (On Pro models) Specifically designed to reduce rotational forces in the event of an angled crash, protecting the developing brain.
Redesigned Interior Shape: The helmet sits lower on the head than previous versions, improving both the aesthetic and the overall stability during active movement.
Multi-Sport Versatility: Fully certified and ready for BMX, dirt jumps, skateparks, e-scooters, and pump tracks.
Single-Density EPS: A lightweight and durable foam liner that provides reliable energy absorption for the types of impacts common in skate and dirt riding.
Dual Comfort Liners: Includes two sets of anti-microbial liners, allowing you to swap them out for a fresh set once the first pair gets sweaty or for fine-tuning the fit.
360° Fit System: (On Pro models) A full-wrap retention system that allows for micro-adjustments to ensure the helmet stays perfectly positioned without being overly tight.

The All-Rounder Kid: If your child jumps between a BMX, a skateboard, and a scooter, this is the one helmet that safely covers every discipline.
The Style-Conscious Grom: Perfect for kids who want the pro "dirt jump" look in a clean, stealthy matte black finish.
Active Park Riders: Ideal for those spend their weekends at the skatepark or pump track, where a traditional road helmet doesn't provide enough rear-of-head coverage.
High-Intensity Road Racing: For competitive road cycling in the summer heat, a highly-vented road lid like the Lazer Tonic will offer more airflow.
Technical Enduro/DH: If they are hitting steep, rocky mountain bike descents, a full-face helmet like the Youth Rampage is the smarter choice for jaw and face protection.
The Youth Flight is an "OSFM" (One Size Fits Most) helmet designed for a 48cm to 52cm head circumference. We always recommend measuring your child’s head just above the eyebrows before purchasing; if they are already at 52cm, we suggest moving up to the Small Adult size to ensure they have room to grow. Because this is a "bucket-style" helmet, it’s important to use the included thicker or thinner liners to get a snug fit—the helmet should not rock forward or backward when the chin strap is secured!
