The Giro Quarter Mips Helmet is one of Giro’s lowest-profile street and dirt helmets, built to withstand the heavy wear and tear of skate parks, dirt jumps, and urban riding. Fusing a tough ABS outer shell with an impact-absorbing EPS foam liner, it features a polyurethane bumper wrap that guards the EPS edge against daily scuffs, scrapes, and knocks.
To take safety to the next level, Giro has integrated the Mips (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) technology. This internal slip-plane system allows the helmet shell to rotate slightly relative to the head during angled impacts, helping to reduce rotational forces transferred to the brain.
Comfort and fit are managed through Giro’s Fit Kit pad system, featuring plush, sweat-absorbent padding in multiple thicknesses that allow you to fine-tune your custom fit. Combined with riveted webbing anchors and nine cooling vents, the Quarter Mips delivers street-smart protection with a clean, understated Matt Black finish.
