BFC Pro Tip
The Edge 1050 has a significantly larger footprint than the 1030 or 1040. If your bike has an exceptionally thick or wide stem faceplate, the Max XXL is the only mount in the K-EDGE range that guarantees the necessary clearance to prevent the computer from rubbing. To keep the setup secure, always use the provided safety tether for your electronics—if the breakaway insert does its job during a crash, the tether ensures your Garmin doesn't bounce down the road! Finally, ensure the single clamp bolt is tightened to 2Nm to prevent slippage on carbon bars.
