Designed specifically for smaller riders, the Prowheel Junior 1x Crank set features shorter crank arm lengths to improve pedalling biomechanics and ground clearance on kids' bikes. Constructed from forged 6061-T6 aluminium, it balances lightweight handling with robust strength to withstand hard trail use and daily riding.
The 32T single chainring provides an optimal gear ratio for climbing hills without sacrificing flat-out speed on open paths. By eliminating the front derailleur, this 1x setup simplifies shifting for young cyclists while reducing total bike weight and mechanical complexity.
Whether you are upgrading an existing youth bike or replacing worn components, this crankset integrates seamlessly with standard square taper or 24mm bottom brackets (depending on specific model specification) to keep your young rider rolling smoothly.
Youth-Specific Ergonomics: Shorter crank arms promote proper hip and knee alignment for growing legs.
32T 1x Drivetrain: Ideal single-chainring gearing that simplifies gear selection and reduces overall chain drop risk.
Forged AL-6061-T6 Construction: Delivers high structural strength and durability without adding unnecessary weight.

✅ Perfect Youth Sizing: Tailored crank arm proportions ensure comfortable pedalling for smaller riders. ✅ Hassle-Free Maintenance: The single 32T chainring setup drops front derailleur weight and tuning hassle.
✅ Durable Replacement: Tough forged aluminium arms handle knocks, drops, and rough trail riding with ease.
❌ Adult Bike Upgrades: Designed strictly around junior geometry and crank lengths rather than adult leg proportions.
❌ High-Range Road Riding: The 32T ring is optimized for trail and mixed-terrain riding rather than high-speed road pacelines.
❌ Specialized Direct-Mount Fits: Uses standard mounting patterns that may not fit proprietary modern carbon frames.
When selecting a junior crankset, match the crank arm length to your child's inseam—as a general rule, crank arm length should be roughly 10% of the rider's total height. If upgrading from a double or triple front chainring setup to this 1x crank, remember to shorten the bike's chain accordingly to maintain proper rear derailleur tension!
