Installation is critical: Do not wire this head directly to your battery's positive and negative terminals. It will draw a tiny "phantom current" (approx. 12mA) even when not charging, which can drain a motorcycle battery over a few weeks of sitting. For the best setup, wire it into a switched ignition circuit (like your headlight or accessory port) or use an isolator switch. This ensures the charger only draws power when the bike is "ON."
