The Santini Adapt Multi-Season Gloves are engineered for the rider who needs one dependable solution for the "shoulder seasons" and moderate winter days. True to their name, these gloves are designed to adapt to a wide temperature swing, making them ideal for those crisp Australian mornings that start near freezing and finish under a bright sun. Instead of a bulky, ski-style construction, the Adapt uses a sophisticated triple-layer fabric that provides a sleek, high-dexterity fit while acting as a formidable barrier against the elements.
The heart of the Adapt glove is its integrated windproof membrane and DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment. This combination ensures your hands stay warm by negating wind-chill and dry by shedding road spray and light drizzle. Inside, you’ll find Blizzard thermofleece, which provides a soft, brushed loft that traps heat without the "sweaty" feeling of non-breathable winter gear. It’s the perfect balance for high-intensity training where moisture management is just as important as insulation.
Key Features
Advanced Triple-Layer Fabric: A high-tech sandwich construction that includes a windproof membrane, ensuring your hands stay responsive and warm in cold air.
Blizzard Thermofleece Lining: The interior is lined with a premium, internally brushed fleece that feels luxurious against the skin and provides excellent thermal regulation.
Water-Resistant DWR Finish: Treated with a Durable Water Repellent coating that forces rain and tyre spray to bead off the surface rather than soaking in.
High-Grip Anti-Slip Palm: The palm features a specialized silicone pattern to ensure a secure hold on your shifters and bars, even when the cockpit is wet.
Extended Elasticated Cuff: Designed with a snug,draft-free wristband that sits comfortably under your jacket or jersey sleeves to lock in heat.
Enhanced Visibility: Includes a reflective side insert to ensure your hand signals are visible to motorists during those dark winter commutes or early dawn starts.

✅ Why This IS For You
Year-Round Commuters: If you need a glove that handles wind, light rain, and cold morning air without being too bulky to stash in a pocket later.
Performance Trainers: Perfect for riders who do intervals in winter; the breathability prevents your hands from overheating once your heart rate climbs.
Dexterity Seekers: Ideal if you hate the "numb" feeling of thick gloves; the slim profile ensures you maintain a precise feel for your electronic shifters and braking.
❌ Why This May NOT be for you
Deep-Freeze Specialists: For temperatures consistently below 0°C, you might require a heavy-duty insulated option like the Santini Neo Shield which uses neoprene for extreme cold.
High-Summer Riders: These are far too warm for anything above 15°C; for those conditions, a lightweight mesh glove is the better choice.
BFC Pro Tip
The Santini Adapt is a staff favourite because of its "second-skin" fit. Because they use a triple-layer fabric, they don't stretch as much as a basic fleece glove, so if you are between sizes, we usually recommend sizing up to ensure you have enough "air space" inside—that air gap is actually what keeps you warm! To keep the DWR water-resistance working, always wash them in a cool cycle and avoid fabric softeners, as they can clog the membrane and stop water from beading off the surface.
