Engineered to save precious watts when racing against the clock, the Santini MADSS Aero High Profile Socks (MEGA AERODYNAMIC SPEED SHELL) represent the pinnacle of performance race wear. Designed for competitive cyclists, time trialists, and triathletes, these high-profile socks combine wind-cheating fabrics with a sleek, professional white aesthetic that elevates any kit setup.
The upper cuff is constructed from a specialized aerodynamic material that disrupts turbulence and smooths airflow across the lower leg where drag is highest. An internal three-stripe silicone grip keeps the sock locked firmly at race height, ensuring zero slipping, bunching, or sagging even during high-intensity, maximum-wattage pedalling efforts.
For long-distance comfort, the lower foot section is crafted from premium Q-Skin fabric infused with silver ions. This highly breathable material actively manages moisture, regulates foot temperature, and provides natural antibacterial properties to control odour, keeping your feet dry, fresh, and comfortable throughout demanding efforts.
Aerodynamic High-Profile Cuff: Engineered upper section smooths turbulent airflow over the lower leg to minimise aerodynamic drag at high speeds.
Q-Skin Moisture-Wicking Footbed: Premium yarn with silver ions delivers superior breathability, moisture management, and permanent odour control.
Internal Silicone Leg Grippers: Three-stripe internal silicone grip on the cuff ensures the socks stay firmly locked at optimal height without slipping.

✅ Competitive Racers: Designed specifically for time trials, road races, and criteriums where saving drag watts makes a critical difference.
✅ Secure Fit Enthusiasts: Silicone leg grippers guarantee the sock stays locked at pro-height throughout intense, high-output riding.
✅ Clean Pro Aesthetics: Crisp white design offers a timeless, high-performance look that pairs effortlessly with any road kit.
❌ Casual Cafe Rides: The compressive aero fit and targeted high-performance features are over-engineered for relaxed, casual spins.
❌ Dirty Off-Road Use: Bright white aero fabric easily shows mud and road spray, making it less ideal for gravel or trail riding.
❌ Low Sock Preference: Designed with a tall race-length cuff for aerodynamic coverage rather than a traditional short or mid-height fit.
To maintain the aerodynamic performance and internal silicone grip of your MADSS socks, avoid using fabric softeners or hot wash cycles, as heat and softeners degrade the elastane and silicone. Wash them inside a mesh laundry bag on a cold setting and line dry in the shade to preserve the crisp white colour and compressive hold!
