SRAM FORCE E1 AXS FRONT DERAILLIER
Silent, Precise, and Wireless.
The SRAM Force AXS E1 Front Derailleur is a specialized 2x component engineered to provide the fastest and most reliable front shifting in the SRAM lineup. This updated E1 version features a refined, narrower cage design that reduces the distance the derailleur needs to move, resulting in quicker shifts even when you are pedaling under heavy power.
A standout feature is the Yaw technology, which allows the derailleur cage to rotate slightly as it moves. This eliminates the need for manual "trimming" by the rider, ensuring the chain never rubs against the cage regardless of which gear you select on the rear cassette.
Key Features
Yaw Cage Technology: Maintains a consistent angular relationship with the chain to eliminate chain rasp and the need for shifter trim.
Refined Cage Shape: A narrower profile optimized for X-Range chainrings, enabling faster and more accurate shifts during outboard movements.
Wireless AXS Connectivity: Fully electronic and cable-free; integrates with the AXS app for battery monitoring and shifting personalization.
Wider Tire Clearance: The redesigned body provides extra space for modern, wider road and all-road tires.
Included Setup Tool: Comes with a specific alignment tool and wedges to ensure a perfect, "first-time" installation on braze-on frames.

✅ Why This IS For You
Performance Road Riders: If you want pro-level front shifting that doesn't require constant adjustment or "trimming" while you ride.
Modern Frame Users: Ideal for bikes with wide tires, as the updated cage provides more clearance than older generations.
AXS System Builders: A necessary component for anyone building a full Force E1 wireless groupset who prefers the smaller gear steps of a double chainring setup.
❌ Why This May NOT be for you
1x Drivetrain Users: If you are running a single front chainring (common in gravel and CX), you do not need a front derailleur at all.
Oversized Chainrings: This model is optimized for a maximum chainring size of 50/37T; riders using larger "Pro" sized rings (like 52T or 54T) should look at the SRAM RED E1 instead.
Extreme Budget Builds: For a more affordable wireless option, the SRAM Rival AXS offers similar performance at a higher weight and lower price point.
BFC Pro Tip
Like the rear derailleur, the SRAM Force E1 Front Derailleur does not include the rechargeable AXS battery. If you are replacing a mechanical system, you will need to purchase the battery and charger separately. During installation, pay close attention to the setup markings on the inside of the cage; using the included plastic alignment tool is the easiest way to ensure your chain stays silent in every gear combination.
