SUPACAZ SUPER STICKY KUSH BAR TAPE GRAVEL BLACK
Tailored Comfort for the Rougher Side of Cycling.
The Supacaz Super Sticky Kush Gravel is the evolved version of the world-renowned road tape, specifically re-engineered to handle the unique demands of mixed-surface riding. While it retains the signature tackiness and aesthetic of the classic version, the Gravel edition is significantly beefed up to provide a more cushioned interface for long-mile adventure riding and technical off-road descents.
To accommodate the growing trend of ultra-wide and flared handlebars, Supacaz has also increased the length of each roll. This ensures that even the widest gravel drop bars can be wrapped with a generous overlap for maximum comfort, without running out of tape before reaching the stem.
Key Features
Gravel-Specific Thickness: Featuring a plush 3.2mm profile, this tape offers superior vibration dampening compared to the standard 2.5mm road version, specifically filtering out "trail chatter."
Extra-Long Rolls: Each roll is 2200mm in length, providing the additional material needed to fully wrap modern wide or flared handlebars.
HydroActiv PU (Top Layer): The advanced polyurethane surface is designed to remain extremely tacky in wet conditions, ensuring a secure grip through mud, rain, and sweat.
Triple-Layer Construction: Combines a tactile top layer with a proprietary Kush Foam mid-layer that improves bike handling by absorbing high-frequency shocks.
Star Plugz: Includes high-end,laser-etched aluminum bar plugs with a 3mm screw-and-expand fastening system to ensure they never pop out on rough terrain.
High-End Finish: The kit is completed with rubberized finishing tape featuring a frost-printed Supacaz pattern for a clean, professional look.

✅ Why This IS For You
Gravel & Bikepacking Riders: If your rides involve unpaved roads or rocky trails, the added 3.2mm thickness provides a mechanical advantage in reducing hand and wrist fatigue.
Flared Handlebar Users: Perfect for those running wide gravel bars (like the Ritchey VentureMax or Salsa Cowchipper) who frequently find standard road tape rolls too short.
All-Weather Commuters: The HydroActiv resin is a standout for anyone who rides year-round, as the grip actually becomes more secure when the tape gets damp.
❌ Why This May NOT be for you
Weight Conscious Roadies: While only a few grams heavier, dedicated climbers might prefer the standard Supacaz Super Sticky Kush for its 2.5mm thickness and lower rotational weight.
Direct Feedback Seekers: If you prefer a "raw" connection to the road where you can feel every minor pebble, the increased cushioning might feel too disconnected for your taste.
Minimalist Wraps: If you prefer a very thin, aerodynamic wrap on a racing bike, the extra thickness and length of the gravel version will result in a bulkier cockpit.
BFC Pro Tip
The Gravel Edition is more than just thicker; its foam is slightly denser to prevent it from "bottoming out" when you hit a sharp root or pothole. When wrapping, because the tape is 3.2mm thick, it's crucial to maintain strong, even tension around the shifter hoods to avoid a bulky "bump" in the transition. Since there is no adhesive backing, you can easily un-wrap and re-wrap it multiple times to get the perfect overlap on both sides.
