When installing lock-on grips with ergonomic palm wings, do not fully tighten the lock ring immediately. Slide the grips onto your bar, sit on your bike in your standard riding position, and rest your hands on the wings. Adjust the angle until your wrists sit completely straight (without bending upward or downward) before torquing the lock-on bolt to spec. This simple adjustment ensures maximum pressure relief!
