ENDURO 6802 MAX SEALED BEARING ABEC-3 15 X 24 X 5MM
The Industry Standard for High-Performance Pivots.
The Enduro 6802 MAX is a high-capacity radial bearing specifically engineered to meet the heavy-duty demands of modern mountain bike suspension linkages.Unlike standard "radial" bearings used in hubs, the MAX (Full Complement) design is built for the high-torque, small-degree oscillating movements found in rear suspension systems.By eliminating the internal retainer (cage), Enduro is able to pack in the maximum number of balls possible, resulting in a 35% to 40% increase in load capacity over standard bearings of the same dimensions.
This ABEC-3 rated bearing uses Grade 10 Chromium Steel balls and 52100 high-carbon steel races. This robust construction allows the 6802 MAX to handle significant multi-directional forces and twisting loads, effectively preventing the "notchy" feel or premature failure often seen with under-specced components in high-stress pivot locations.
Key Features
MAX Full Complement Design: Filling the entire race with balls increases the bearing surface area, preventing "pitting" and spreading extreme loads more evenly across the races.
ABEC-3 Precision: Tight manufacturing tolerances ensure a perfect press-fit and smooth, creak-free performance within your suspension system.
LLU Full-Contact Seals: Dual-lip, labyrinth seals make firm contact with the inner race groove, providing maximum protection against water, dirt, and trail grime.
90% Grease Fill: Pre-loaded with Almagard Extra High Pressure Grease, specifically designed to withstand the high-load, low-speed impacts of aggressive trail riding.
High-Carbon 52100 Steel: Vacuum de-gassed alloy races offer extreme durability and resistance to fatigue under heavy compression.
Deep-Groove Races: Engineered with the deepest grooves possible to support larger balls, providing superior lateral stability during technical descending and hard cornering.

✅ Why This IS For You
Suspension Pivot Overhauls: The go-to replacement for Giant, Santa Cruz, and Intense bikes (among others) that frequently utilize 6802 bearings in their main or secondary linkages.
Harsh Conditions: Ideal for riders in wet or muddy environments who need a bearing that seals out contaminants and retains its lubrication.
Frame Longevity: Perfect for those looking to eliminate linkage play and restore the original, plush feel of their mountain bike's suspension.
❌ Why This May NOT be for you
High-Speed Hubs: Due to the lack of a cage, these have more internal drag than standard bearings. They are NOT recommended for front hubs or other high-RPM parts.
Road Bike Wheelsets: Road cyclists seeking minimal friction and maximum speed should stick to standard ABEC-5 or Ceramic non-MAX bearings for their wheels.
BFC Pro Tip
The 6802 is an extremely common size for mid-to-large suspension pivots. When installing, always verify that you are pressing against the outer race of the bearing. Since MAX bearings are designed for a tight press-fit, even a small amount of grit in the frame bore can cause the bearing to sit crooked. Use a dedicated bearing press tool to ensure they go in straight every time—this prevents the dreaded "creaky pivot" and keeps your frame's bearing bores in top shape for the long haul.
