When crushing the brass olive onto the 5mm hose during installation, make sure the hydraulic line is pushed completely straight and bottomed out firmly inside the connector body before you begin tightening the shroud. Torquing the fitting while the hose is twisted or angled can deform the olive unevenly, which leads to slow, annoying micro-leaks later on when the system is subjected to heavy, heat-heavy trail braking!
