LOOK KEO BLADE CARBON CERAMIC PEDALS
The Pinnacle of Racing Performance.
The Look Keo Blade Carbon Ceramic is engineered for one thing: pure speed. By combining a high-modulus carbon body with a proprietary carbon blade spring, Look has created a pedal that offers a lightning-fast engagement and a more aerodynamic profile than traditional coil-spring designs. This ceramic version takes performance a step further by utilizing ceramic bearings, which reduce friction by up to 18% and offer a lifespan 4 to 6 times longer than standard steel bearings.
With a massive 700mm² surface area, these pedals provide an incredibly stable platform for maximum power transfer during out-of-the-saddle sprints and steep climbs. The "Blade" technology replaces the traditional metal spring with a carbon leaf spring, resulting in a firmer, more secure "snap" when clipping in and out, while also reducing the overall weight to a featherlight 110g per pedal.
Key Features
Carbon Blade Technology: Replaces the heavy steel spring with a carbon leaf spring, providing a more aerodynamic shape and a more linear, secure clip-in/clip-out feel.
Ceramic Bearings: Perfectly round, ultra-hard ceramic balls reduce friction and increase durability, ensuring your pedals spin smoothly for thousands of kilometers.
Massive Power Transfer: Featuring a 700mm² stainless steel contact plate, these pedals offer one of the largest platforms in the road market for unrivaled stability.
Ultra-Lightweight Body: Constructed from high-modulus carbon fiber to achieve a weight of just 110g per pedal, making them a favorite for weight-conscious racers.
Optimized Aerodynamics: The integrated blade design creates a flush, streamlined underside that reduces drag compared to traditional open-spring pedals.
Tunable Tension: Comes stock with 12Nm blades; 16Nm and 20Nm blades are available separately for riders who demand an even firmer release tension.

✅ Why This IS For You
Competitive Road Racers: If you are looking for marginal gains and want the smoothest-spinning, most aerodynamic pedal available for criteriums and road races.
Weight Weenies: Perfect for those building a sub-7kg climbing bike where every gram saved on rotating mass makes a difference.
Stability Seekers: Ideal if you use modern, stiff-soled carbon shoes and want a wide contact patch to eliminate "hot spots" during long rides.
❌ Why This May NOT be for you
Cafe & Leisure Riders: The carbon blade provides a very firm "snap"; if you prefer a light, adjustable tension for easy clipping in and out at traffic lights, the Keo Classic 3 may be more suitable.
Walking Intensive Rides: Like all road-specific pedals, the cleats are exposed; if you plan on walking into shops frequently, a recessed SPD system is a better choice.
BFC Pro Tip
The Keo Blade Carbon Ceramic is a precision instrument. Because the ceramic bearings are so smooth, the pedal is perfectly balanced to always sit at the same angle for easy clipping in. To keep them performing at a "pro-tour" level, avoid using high-pressure hoses directly on the spindle ends. A quick wipe of the stainless steel platform with a dry cloth after a wet ride will prevent grit from wearing down your cleats prematurely. If you find the 12Nm tension feels a bit light for your finishing sprint, come see us about swapping to the 16Nm blade for that rock-solid mechanical connection!
