ROCKSHOX REVERB AXS 30.9 150MM
The Wireless Benchmark for Performance Drivetrains.
The RockShox Reverb AXS is a game-changing dropper post that eliminates the need for hydraulic hoses or mechanical cables.By integrating into the SRAM AXS ecosystem, it offers nearly instantaneous, wireless actuation with the simple touch of a button. While traditional droppers can be a headache to install and maintain due to internal cable routing, the Reverb AXS is a "bolt-on and ride" solution that cleans up your cockpit and provides the most reliable performance in the category.
The 30.9mm / 150mm configuration is a popular choice for modern trail and cross-country bikes, offering a balanced amount of travel that gets the saddle out of the way for technical descents without requiring excessive seat tube length. Built with updated "B1" internals, this generation features Vent Valve Technology, allowing you to fix the dreaded "dropper squish" in seconds without ever taking the post apart.
Key Performance Technologies
Wireless AXS Actuation: Uses encrypted wireless technology for zero-latency communication between the controller and the seatpost.
Vent Valve Technology: A built-in service solution that lets you move air back into the air chamber and out of the oil, restoring a rock-solid feel without a full rebuild.
ActiveRide™ Technology: The air-spring internals are designed to be completely stiff when fully extended, but offer a tiny amount of "compliance" when dropped slightly—ideal for adding comfort and traction on technical, seated climbs.
SRAM AXS Ecosystem Integration: Uses the standard SRAM AXS battery (shared with Eagle AXS derailleurs) and can be fully customized via the SRAM AXS mobile app.
IPX7 Waterproof Rating: Completely sealed against the elements, allowing you to ride through creek crossings and pressure-wash your bike without concern.
Low-Friction Internal Design: Features an updated IFP (Internal Floating Piston) for faster return speed and less force required to initiate the drop.

✅ Why This IS For You
The Clean Cockpit Enthusiast: If you want to remove one more cable from your handlebars and simplify the look and maintenance of your bike.
Home Mechanics: The easiest dropper post in the world to install; there is no internal cable routing to fish through the frame.
Riders with Multiple AXS Bikes: Since it uses the same battery as your derailleur, you can easily swap batteries between components in an emergency.
❌ Why This May NOT be for you
Budget-Conscious Builders: The Reverb AXS is a premium product and sits at a significantly higher price point than cable-actuated alternatives like the Fox Transfer or OneUp.
Extreme Travel Requirements: While 150mm is versatile, very tall riders on modern "long-travel" bikes might prefer the Reverb AXS 170mm or 200mm versions to maximize clearance.
BFC Pro Tip
The Reverb AXS is surprisingly easy to live with, but one thing to watch is the battery clearance. On some small or extra-small frames with high-volume 29er tires, the battery (which sits at the back of the post head) can occasionally buzz the tire at full compression. Before your first ride, let the air out of your rear shock and compress the bike fully to ensure you have clear space. Also, remember that the controller uses a CR2032 watch battery—these last about two years, but it's always worth keeping a spare in your pack so you aren't stuck with your seat up!
