The SM-MA-F203-P/P M is a directional component—look for the small arrow on the side which should always point toward the top of the fork or the front of the bike. Always use a torque wrench (usually 6-8Nm for these bolts) to ensure you have a secure fit without stripping the threads on your expensive fork lowers.
