Creatine Monohydrate is a naturally occurring and non-essential compound that can be obtained through the diet or synthesised in the liver and kidneys. Once synthesised, creatine is predominantly stored in the muscles where it also exists in a phosphorylated form known as phosphocreatine (PCr). The amount of creatine consumed in habitual diets is not sufficient to enhance muscle creatine and PCr stores. Therefore, athletes often supplement with Creatine Monohydrate.

Creatine is one of the most commonly used sports supplements. A daily intake of 5g creatine monohydrate after a loading phase has been shown to increase physical performance in successive bursts of short term high intensity exercise.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

Consume 4 x 5 g per day for 5 days followed by 3-5 g per day thereafter.

SiS Creatine is tested under the Informed Sport Certification program. This approach involves testing every single batch of SIS finished product which leaves the Company’s factory, screened against the 2017 World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) list. Banned substances including steroids are tested to the level of 10 Nanograms per gram, and stimulants to 100 Nanograms per gram. Batches (sampled at the beginning, during and end of each product batch) receive the recognised and respected Informed Sport certificate and SIS provides the documentation to athletes on request.
